CABRILLO FORMAT

There are two versions of the Cabrillo log file format. Yet, 9MDXC Committee ONLY accepts Cabrillo v3 format file. Example of a Cabrillo v3 file for the MALAYSIA DX Contest 2022:

The format for each line is <LABEL>: followed by a space.

START-OF-LOG: 3.0 version. That must be the first line of the log submission. This file is version 3.0.

CALLSIGN: Callsign. The callsign used during the contest.

CONTEST: The contest-name must be MYDX-SSB-CONTEST.

CATEGORY-OPERATOR: The category-operator must be SINGLE-OP or MULTI-OP. If you do not want your score included in the listings, you must set this field to CHECKLOG.

CATEGORY-ASSISTED: NON-ASSISTED.

CATEGORY-MODE: SSB only.

CATEGORY-BAND: If you are entering an all band category, use ALL, otherwise select one of the individual bands which is 80M, 40M, 20M, 15M or 10M.

CATEGORY-POWER: LOW or HIGH.

CATEGORY-TRANSMITTER: ONE only.

CLAIMED-SCORE:  n. The claimed-score of the log submission, in integer form such as 1217315 or 19113 or 12. Do not use commas.

NAME: Name. Maximum of 75 characters long.

ADDRESS: Mailing address, each line should be a maximum of 45 characters long. Up to 6 address lines are permitted.

ADDRESS-CITY: Text. Optional fields for providing mailing address details.

ADDRESS-STATE-PROVINCE: Text. Optional fields for providing mailing address details.

ADDRESS-POSTALCODE: Text. Optional fields for providing mailing address details.

ADDRESS-COUNTRY: Text. Optional fields for providing mailing address details.

OPERATORS: Callsign.  The callsign used during the contest

QSO: QSO-data.

QSO-data.

Note for Column 49 that indicates the sent exchange age number. Column 56 is the beginning for recieved info section.

END-OF-LOG: Must be the last line of the log submission.
