Every April 18, radio amateurs worldwide take to the airwaves in celebration of World Amateur Radio Day. It was on this day in 1925 that the International Amateur Radio Union was formed in Paris.

This event is being conducted together with 9 different radio organizations or clubs in Malaysia which is MARTS, Perlis DX Club, Kedah DX Club, PReCOMM, AROL, ASTRA, Simplex V17 Club, Kulai DX Club and AMSAT-MY. Officially during this year, we have worked via 3 different bands:
1. 2m/ VHF: 85 Stations.
2. 20m: 137 Stations.
PH: 2 Stations.
CW: 135 Stations.
3. 40m: 199 Stations.
PH: 184 Stations.
CW: 15 Stations.
We also have conducted special net via 3 different satellites:
1. SO-50: 7 Stations.
2. IO-86: 13 Stations.
3. AO-92: 9 Stations.
